Sewer cameras are not bullet proof, a sewer camera during normal use is subjected to difficult environments. Even during normal use, wear and tear damage requiring repair should be expected. The need for repairs can be minimized by treating the camera system as a precision piece of equipment.

Always use the protective skid. Using the camera without the protective camera head skid will eventually cause a camera head failure, this damage will occur more rapidly in pipes with a rough interior surface such as old cast iron pipes.

The push cable is made of fiberglass, this cable is a smaller diameter (5.2 mm) than some competing camera systems. The system is designed this way to allow more flexibility for turns and bends. However, do not force the push rod, if the camera has stopped moving and you continue to push/feed the cable into the pipe, the push rod cable can fold up on itself, if this occurs, damage to the fiberglass will occur. Sometimes the cable will kink or completely shear, other times underlying/hidden damage has occurred that will not be discovered until another use of the system.

Protect the flexible camera head spring, if you force the camera head spring past a sharp edge, or through tree roots or a line restriction, on retrieval the spring might catch and be kinked or stretched, in most cases this will require replacement of the camera head.

The most common required repairs are damaged camera heads (used without protective skid), damaged flex springs and damaged push rod cables (kinked or broken).

Inspector Cameras LLC, provides a limited warranty as specified below to the first purchaser, that should any of its products prove to be defective in materials or workmanship during normal use, within One (1) Year from the date of purchase; Inspector Cameras LLC, will, at its exclusive option, repair, replace or exchange the product or any of its parts with new, remanufactured or functional similar components.

What is Not Covered:

Failures due to misuse, abuse or normal wear and tear are not covered by this warranty. Inspector Cameras LLC shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the loss of any use of the camera system.

Our camera systems are used on job sites in the most demanding applications and environments. Under these conditions, the camera system will experience normal wear and tear and likely require maintenance repair service. While normal wear & tear is not considered a “defect” and is not covered by the Limited Warranty, it is our goal to get your camera system back in service a soon as possible. Inspector Cameras LLC offers service, parts and repair by factory trained technicians at our facility in New Hampshire to meet your service needs.

This warranty does not apply to any camera system or component which has been subjected to accident, negligence, alteration, abuse or misuse. Repair by anyone other than Inspector Cameras LLC or the use of or repair with any parts or components not supplied or furnished by Inspector Cameras LLC will void the limited warranty.

This warranty does not apply to flex springs, cable rod, LED light rings, o-rings, batteries, skids, or other parts, which are considered consumable. The replacement of these items is part of normal product maintenance.

Defects in Materials or Workmanship:

It is our experience that a product that fails prematurely due to a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, will generally do so very early in the product’s life cycle, often the first or second time the product is used. When returned for inspection, these products are generally found to still be in like new condition and show very little signs of use. It is uncommon for a product that was manufactured with a defect, to function under normal use for more than an initial short period of time. Products that are returned for warranty inspection after previous successful usage are rarely found to have defects in materials or workmanship. The most common demand for service is the result of normal maintenance or wear and tear issues, which are not considered to be a defect in materials or workmanship.

All transportation charges to and from our location for warranty or service work will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Any damage and loss incurred in connection with the transportation of the camera system or individual components shall be borne by the purchaser.

No other warranties, guarantees, or liabilities, either implied or expressed, will be the responsibility of Inspector Cameras LLC.

Inspector Cameras LLC will, at its option, repair or replace without charge to the original purchaser, any part or parts manufactured by it and found, upon examination, to be DEFECTIVE IN MATERIAL AND/OR WORKMANSHIP if received for such examination within the stated warranty period, which begins on the date of original purchase.
